SERVICES & TREATMENTS

What treatments do you offer? We offer a full menu of non-invasive facial and body treatments, including Diamond Glow Facials, HydraFacials, Glass Skin (Aquagold) Facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, TruSculpt Flex body sculpting, LED light therapy, Rejuran Salmon DNA Facials, and Vitamin Hair Infusion treatments for hair loss. We also carry a curated selection of professional skincare products.

What is your most popular treatment? Our Diamond Glow Facial is our most-requested and highest-rated treatment. It combines diamond-tip exfoliation, gentle extraction, and customized serum infusion for immediately brighter, smoother skin with zero downtime.

What is the difference between a Diamond Glow Facial and a HydraFacial? Both combine exfoliation with serum infusion, but they use different technologies. The Diamond Glow uses a physical diamond-tipped wand for deeper resurfacing, while the HydraFacial uses a water-based Vortex-Fusion device for a gentler approach. Audrey can recommend what is best for your skin during your consultation.

What is the Glass Skin Facial? The Glass Skin Facial is a micro-infusion treatment that delivers a customized cocktail of hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins, and exosomes directly into the skin. It produces the luminous, translucent "glass skin" look and is a popular pre-event treatment. Results last up to four weeks.

What does TruSculpt Flex treat? TruSculpt Flex is a non-invasive muscle sculpting treatment that delivers up to 54,000 muscle contractions per session. It is available for the abdomen, obliques, glutes, and thighs. TruSculpt Flex is designed to build muscle tone, strength, and definition without surgery or downtime.

Do you offer body treatments in addition to facials? Yes. In addition to TruSculpt Flex body sculpting, we offer full-body DiamondGlow exfoliation, LED light therapy, and professional body care products from brands like LILIS, Revision, and MBR.

Do you treat hair loss? Yes. Our Vitamin Hair Infusion delivers a blend of copper tripeptides, biotin, and botanicals directly into the scalp to stimulate hair follicles, reduce shedding, and increase thickness and density. It's ideal for both men and women experiencing hair loss from hormonal changes, stress, aging, or postpartum recovery.

What skincare brands do you carry? We carry Revision Skincare, OURSELF, Image Skincare (ORMEDIC line), LILIS, MBR, and CO2Lift. Every product in our shop is personally selected and used by Audrey in her treatments. We only carry what we trust and recommend.

Can treatments be combined in one visit? Yes. Many clients combine treatments for enhanced results. For example, a Diamond Glow Facial with LED light therapy, or a chemical peel followed by a hydrating mask. Our staff will advise you on safe and effective combinations during your consultation.

Who performs the treatments? All treatments at 123 Beauty Lab are performed by Audrey Matney, the founder and lead aesthetician. She is personally involved in every client consultation and treatment.

Is Audrey Matney licensed? Yes. Audrey is a licensed aesthetician with over 20 years of professional experience in aesthetic medicine. She has worked alongside some of Manhattan's top plastic surgeons and dermatologists, and holds extensive clinical knowledge in advanced skincare, laser treatments, peels, and skin resurfacing.

What makes 123 Beauty Lab different from other spas? Our approach is research-driven and results-oriented. Audrey begins every relationship with a comprehensive skin assessment, facial mapping, and evaluation to create what she calls your "aesthetic algorithm". Our treatments are non-invasive aesthetic services performed by a licensed aesthetician. We do not perform injectable procedures such as Botox or dermal fillers.

PRE-TREATMENT PREPARATION

How should I prepare for a facial treatment? Arrive with a clean face, if possible, with no heavy makeup. Avoid using any exfoliating products for 48–72 hours before your appointment. Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your visit, as well-hydrated skin responds better to treatment.

How should I prepare for a chemical peel? Discontinue any prescription exfoliants for at least 5–7 days before your peel. Avoid sun exposure and tanning. Do not wax, thread, or use hair removal creams on the treatment area.

How should I prepare for a TruSculpt Flex session? Wear comfortable clothing. Stay well-hydrated before and after your session. You may eat a light meal before your treatment. No other special preparation is needed.

Should I shave before a body treatment? For TruSculpt Flex, no shaving is required. For body facials or microdermabrasion, shaving the treatment area 24 hours in advance is recommended.

Is there anything I should tell you before my first treatment? Yes. Please share any relevant medical history, including skin conditions, allergies, medications (especially blood thinners, retinoids, or antibiotics), recent procedures, pregnancy, and any active skin issues such as cold sores, sunburns, or open wounds.

POST-TREATMENT CARE

What should I do after a facial? Avoid touching your face for at least a few hours. Skip heavy makeup for 12–24 hours to let your skin breathe and absorb the treatment benefits. Avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours.

What should I expect after a chemical peel? Mild redness and tightness are normal in the first 24–48 hours. Visible flaking and peeling typically begin on days 2–3 and can last through day 5. Do not pick or pull at peeling skin. Avoid sun exposure, saunas, and steam rooms for at least one week. Wear SPF 30+ daily. For full results, approximately 7 days post-treatment.

What should I expect after a TruSculpt Flex session? You may feel mild muscle soreness similar to a workout, but without the burning sensation caused by lactic acid buildup. There is zero downtime and you can return to your normal activities immediately. Stay hydrated and eat a nutritious meal after each session. Full TruSculpt Flex results typically appear 8–12 weeks after your first treatment, with best results after 4–8 sessions.

What should I expect after a Glass Skin or Aquagold facial? Mild redness or slight pinkness may occur and usually fades within a few hours. Avoid makeup for several hours to allow the micro-channels to close and the serums to absorb fully. Your glow will continue to develop over the following 3–5 days and can last up to four weeks.

What should I expect after microdermabrasion? Your skin may appear slightly pink and feel sensitive immediately after, similar to a mild sunburn. This typically resolves within a few hours. Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF. Your skin will feel noticeably smoother and look brighter right away.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment? For most facials and microdermabrasion, you can apply light makeup immediately but it is better to wait 12–24 hours. After a chemical peel, typically, the flaking has resolved. After a Glass Skin Facial, wait at least 6–12 hours.

How soon can I exercise after a treatment? For facials and microdermabrasion, wait at least 24 hours before intense exercise to avoid sweating on freshly treated skin. After a chemical peel, avoid exercise and heat exposure for 48–72 hours. After TruSculpt Flex, you can resume sports and other daily activities immediately.

FIRST-TIME CLIENTS

I've never had a professional facial before. Which treatment do you recommend? Our 123 Glow Mini Facial ($375) or HydraFacial ($375) are both excellent starting points. They are gentle, effective, and give you a chance to experience professional-grade skincare without the intensity of a peel or advanced resurfacing treatment. During your visit, our staff will assess your skin and recommend a treatment for you.

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment? A consultation is not required to book, but we strongly recommend one if you are a first-time client or have specific concerns. We offer complimentary consultations where we evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and recommend the most effective treatment plan for you.

Is there a minimum age requirement? You must be at least 18 years old to receive treatments at 123 Beauty Lab.

I have sensitive skin. Can I still get treated? Absolutely. Many of our treatments are specifically designed for sensitive skin, including the Mandelic Acid Glow Peel and the HydraFacial. Audrey customizes every treatment to your skin type, so sensitivity is always taken into account.
